Ringo started using English tea towels in the late 1960's on his snare drum and his toms to dampen the sound during recording sessions with The Beatles at Abbey Road. Gary Astridge is a Ringo historian and is in charge of taking care of Ringo's vintage Beatles drums and equipment. When setting up Ringo's drums for exhibitions and presentations...he uses these English tea towels. These are just like the ones used by Ringo in the 1960's. Purchased from Gary Astridge.
