Rare sauce boat made by Meissen in 1897 for the personal use of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Both the main dish and the under plate have a great relief design to the rim with four bugs in the blank areas in between, and lots of scattered smaller flowers. Two nice handles highlighted with gilding and gold trim to the edges. What makes this piece special besides being a nicely done piece is the fact that it was made for the Kaiser and has his personal monogram on the back! It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords as well as the WR under a crown and the year 1897 in red. 19th century German Germany Royal King royalty

    Thank you....

Gorgeous piece, and Sean is right that's an older blue Meissen mark (the little dots on the feet could age it to 1897)

For the other brown mark, you could search on a site called Porcelain Marks & More, they specialize in all Dresden and other German porcelain and have photos of the different marks. Good luck
