Super gorgeous owl brooch! Made when JJ Jonette made their jewelry with pride and craftmanship. Those amber and clear stones are beautiful and the green eyes befitting. Great find!

DejaVu I totally agree about JJ Jonette, this rhinestone owl is a great piece by them, and I have another owl brooch they made with gorgeous colorful enamel (part of an owl brooch trio post), but as you said from their earlier days. In later yrs they seemed to do interesting shapes but with few rhinestones if any. Thanks for your awesome compliments & cool observ
Phil, as often happens, this owl was a lucky accidental find - as you know I'm a sampler when it comes to cost. jewelry co's, and to see this pretty owl was by a famous maker was a real delight. That breastplate is so well done, not just the rhinestones but the sculpted goldtone feathers are quite nice. Thanks for your wonderful praise
Leesa, I do remember you love owls as you have that beautiful owl statue, they are such fascinating enigmatic birds with those hypnotic eyes. Very glad you enjoyed this little guy and thank you for your super compliment!
My owl is hooting his thanks for the kind love Bernard, thank you so much!
