Kutani sake flask

This Kutani sake flask is about 5" high x 3" in diameter. It has a complex kiln/artist mark on the bottom. It is hand painted, almost enameled in places, and has three gold smudges, often seen on Kutani pottery. It is an orphan, as no cups or box have survived with it. It is fairly thin walled, weighing only 5.7 ounces.

Possibly the work of Kutani Odaki, Higashi Tadao 1931-2013.
