for wingletts: this is my milk glass 'Manhattan' cake stand. Manhattan was first introduced by United States Glass in 1902 in crystal and ruby stained, and was continued by Tiffin (originally a subsidiary of USG). This is USG #15078 and is also known as 'New York'. It is generally accepted that Tiffin Glass most likely produced this milk glass version.

I love this !!! I am fixing to put up something, interesting and old that you use to help make cakes...this was my grannys, she passed away in her 90's 1981. I think you will love this...and it works great, but somewhat rusty inside...but...look at this...

@HStash: mail me ((tc (at) tallcakes.com)) and I may be able to help. The milk glass in this pattern is a bit rare compared to the crystal; they do infrequently show up at auctions, tho' it may take significant patience...

@HStash: 'mint condition' is an elusive term when considering EAPG and other pressed glass, as there were production limitations defects that are considered normal. Tho' it seems that these do often have varying levels of chips on the 'teeth' in many of the online auction listings. Perseverance is necessary to locate those with no damage. You may contact me directly via email at tc@tallcakes.com

thank you TT for your comment...
