These coins came from a storage auction. I found a short blurb online about them but they didn't address value. Covers, can you enlighten me?

Very nice. What you have is Gould, Inc's pattern dollars that were part of a project by the U.S. Mint to replace the Eisenhower dollar. Private companies submitted various pattern coins in different alloys to be considered by the U.S. Mint. Eventually the Susan B. Anthony dollar won out and became the new dollar coin. We all know how successful that was.
Your pattern dollars were produced by Gould somewhere between 1976-1978. Besides the titanium examples like yours, Gould apparently also did some in pure nickel.
A titanium example like yours was sold at auction in 2006 for about $600. That example was graded MS-66 by Numismatic Guaranty Corp (NGC). You should submit yours for authentication and grading. Also, keep the Gould bag with them. The bag could up the value.
Make sure you handle them very carefully by their edges and whatever you do, don't clean them or wipe them with a cloth or anything. Also, don't bang them around together. There's no quicker way to send the value down than improper handling.
Congratulations! What a great find!
