Vintage silver plated trinket box

I recently acquired this vintage silver plated trinket box with Greek key design. It is very well constructed and quite heavy. It is lined with velvet but it appears to be replacement. The same velvet covers the bottom. It measures about 6"x4". I was particularly taken by quality of the construction most notably the hinge. This is not an area in which I have knowledge so perhaps a viewer might be able to offer some insight as to origin and age. Thanks
