George Averbeck vase

This hand blown glass vase is about 6.25 " high x 3" diameter, snapped pontil and signed on the bottom. It is signed "Geo Averbeck Fire on the Mt.". Fire on the Mountain is his studio in Arizona.

From what I can tell, he runs something of a "co-operative" studio which includes dozens of artist, in glass, stone, wood, pottery, prints, paintings, jewelry, etc. I got the impression from his web site that if something is signed by him, it is his work, not that of another member of the co-operative so I sent an email to his web site and was told that if he signs it, he made it. He appears to have been very prolific, but there is nothing by him or his studio on CW.
