I was born in the shadow of a 193o’s public works administration’s project ,filled
with steel expansion joints that clicked throughout the night as
The cars trucks and buses endlessly went places and
every place I wasn’t but I was Rhythmically destined to
feel the bumps in the concrete ,a wave in time ,arrive anytime
No place to be but where I am now ,,so with a sack And the realization
that there’s something better over the next hill and if not
maybe a little further ,,in a Bag in a ditch I rested
Until I+everyone that looked like me got arrested
