Another find in my local junk shop, I did a double-take when I saw it. The 7" flute is probably by one of the Stourbridge makers, possibly Richardson but it's almost impossible to be certain, the stand is modern but elegant. Dates from around 1880-1900. This is termed in the UK "vaseline glass" because it looks as though it has been smeared with modern day opaque Vaseline petroleum jelly. The US term applies to early clear yellow uranium glass, so I suppose it qualifies on both counts.

Thanks kivatinitz, this type of glass always glows well, although it doesn't have a particularly high uranium content.
