Dave, this yellow fish does look beautiful in sunlight, just a bit disappointed it's not a uranium yellow ( I tried w/ the black light) but nevertheless the ridges make it quite sparkly
Penny my Pisces friend, I'm so glad you loved this Swedish fish! I was wondering if they have trout in Sweden & googled it, yes they do, so in my opinion I think it has a trout look...of course, with so many fish in the sea I could be wrong :)
Kevin I'm really glad you liked this guy, Reijmyre has made some great glass animals I've found, but rarely in yellow - I have just one other, a dachshund. Most Swedish animals are clear glass, so finding the colored type is always a treat
vintagelamp, this is definitely my catch of the week (perhaps the whole month actually!), though I always keep an eye out for cool fish. Fortunately the Reijmyre seller here was in the US so I didn't have to wait too long for this one. Many of my glass fish were made in Sweden, & most come to me direct from there so I've learned to 'wait for the post' lol
Many thanks Hum for the love for this glass fish, glad you liked it and always grateful for the kind consideration
Ere that the label showing through in the first image or is that summat it et? Mebbe a l'il squirrel?
Thanks Ted & MMNJ for the love, and Kevin for your fun comment lol....it is just a reflection of the label's back, though it does looks like a squirrel! Unfortunately when it's transparent glass a label will often make a shadow, and you never know how the pic will turn out
Thank you DejaVu for the love for this yellow fish, very glad you liked it and appreciate your thoughtfulness
