These are interesting clocks to me. They run for a couple of years on one "D" cell 1.5 volt battery. The backer board to the movement is a marble slab to give it stability. This one wasn't working, there was a contact near the ratchet that the pawl in the clock turns, that is driven by the pendulum that was misaligned, once aligned correctly and the other point cleaned it was up and running.
