Picked this up the other day and can't figure out what it is. I've heard guesses of "suspenders clip" and "bar rag clip." Any ideas or answers are welcome.

Update: Discovered that this is Mr. L.F. Duff’s (March 1, 1927, no. 1619249) patented “Duff Kutter” Razor Blade Holder, from Cutler Products Co., Los Angeles, Calif. Mine was sold and marketed by Lucky Lager Beer, a prominent beer company in the Western U.S., launched in 1934 and peaked in popularity during the 1950s and 60s. From the font, I'd say this is an earlier piece.

      tshusker, Cool. :-)

      Here's the patent listing:

      https://patents.google.com/patent/US1619249A/en

FYI, you have an extra 2 in your text description of the patent number (16192249) which slowed me down in finding the patent.

It doesn't seem like it should have been such a big deal, but no amount of trying different search criteria seemed to work. I finally somehow just stumbled on it.
