I'm at a loss. Can anyone help tell me why this happened to the dime? Smooth sides and seems the dime is recessed into the coin.

Looking to get some answers on this dime. I have not had much luck finding any info regarding the not being normal dime.
There's lots these Posted on CW Shotinthedark, Dimes, Quarters, Nickles, Pennys too, most were caught in something that Spins! Like a Washer, a Dryer, someone said the coin wheel on a Slot Machine, another one was just posted this Week! I posted one showing how it can Happen! I'll give You some links, so You can see, OK!
