DejaVu finding an alabastro (filmy) pink Murano animal has eluded me for years, and this one being from the 1950s, it was a really, really nice find. On a Murano I almost always try to get one with a label, as unless you are an expert like apostata, there are many imitators out there and on this site I think we should try to be as authentic as possible. Phil this bird does have a pretty contrast with the pink & clear glass, even appears to have gradient pink areas like around the eyes and tail. She's a sweet little bird that reminds me of a songbird, and I love the pose of her wings as if ready for takeoff :) Thank you for your wonderful comment
