This pair of sterling silver animal pins have marcasite & colorful enamel accents and tiny rhinestone eyes. The 1 1-2" donkey with floral basket was made by Alice Caviness from prewar German silver marked with her name, sterling silver & Germany on back. The 2"W horse pulling a flower cart is marked sterling only but is in the Caviness style. Both pins ca 1930s-1940s
