Vintage earrings

Hello I’ve just rediscovered this lovely pair of earrings that I found when I first started going out to look for old stuff. I am now wondering what these stones are, I polished away a lot of the gold when I first found them as had no idea what I was doing. But I think they maybe rolled gold but these stones are amazing and they seem real with a antique cut to them, not weighed them but they are big.
