    Not sure of the date? If anyone knows I’d be mighty obliged. Goodwill find. Lucky day for sure. I cannot find silver hallmarks noting the honest wear on the base. 9.5 “ tall. Not sure what this shape is called.

      This is an early 20 century Japanese vase by Ando Jubei.

      Thank you. I actually found an identical listing. Turns out that the rim is not silver (some of Jubei's vases are sterling). Instead it is 'silver brass' whatever that is. Late Mejji/Early Showa according to the listing so I suppose that places it as transitional and anywhere from 1912 to about 1930.
