    This frame appears to be old, it had a canvass painting attached which I think was added later due to newer hardware used. There is writing on the back side of the Frame That Reads "Mannie Hailum 1880. Unknow anything about this Person. The details or carvings (I think) is pretty cool. Unknown Style.

      The so-called carving is plaster of Paris, which had the design molded into the plaster before it was cut to make a frame out of. That proves it's quite old, since nobody does that anymore. I can't think of any way to give you a specific date as to when it was made.

      There is a detail in one of your photos which shows part of the plaster molding chipped away.
