This dachibin, hip flask, is 6" long x 4.5" high x 3,5" wide and is signed on the back with a kiln/artist mark. It weighs 1 lb 2 ounces. The throat is rough so a cork would seal it nicely. It has a hand painted decoration on the top and front.
These flasks are generally a product of the Japanese island of Okinawa. They are used for drinking awamori, a rice liquor distilled there.
