      It does not resemble gold or even silver which watch fobs were mainly made of. It seems to be some sort of plastic cord ?? It also most resemble a charm bracelet which it very well might be.

      It appears to be tatting, kind of like crochet, but done with a series of knots, kind of old lost pastime skill.
