This fascinates me! I found dark colored versions online, but nothing this palomino blond color. When would this have been made? By who?

It does not resemble gold or even silver which watch fobs were mainly made of. It seems to be some sort of plastic cord ?? It also most resemble a charm bracelet which it very well might be.

It appears to be tatting, kind of like crochet, but done with a series of knots, kind of old lost pastime skill.
