Patrick Kennedy graduated with a B.A. in 1959 and M.A. in 1961 from the University of Missouri. He also studied at the CCAC (now CCA), San Francisco. Patrick primarily used stoneware, which is carved and manipulated and then nicely highlighted with glaze. We show him living in Missouri, California and Vermont, to just mention a few locations. Per the seminal reference "Craftsmen of the Southwest" he exhibited at the following locations: Christian College, Columbia Missouri, 1959, University of Missouri, Fine Arts Center, Columbia, Missouri, 1961, Francis F. McCray Gallery New Mexico, 1962, and Mammel Art Center, Ottawa, Kansas, 1963. Patrick Kennedy exhibited at the Syracuse Ceramic Nationals in 1964, 1966 and 1968.
