Here is a 4 1-2"H ruby red glass pelican that was a 1995 reissue of Fostoria item #2351 pelican originally made between 1935-1943, this repro a commemorative for the 15th anniversary of the Fostoria Glass Society of America (see book excerpt in photo #4 from Glass Animals by Spencer) LGSA 95 raised imprint can be seen on base in photo #1

Thanks Phil for your super comment, yes this pelican has that proud stance you see on them when they are standing on a post looking cool! I never locate enough red glass animals and was so pleased to find this classic Fostoria bird in the ruby red, he really stands out from the crowd
