    1. & 2. I'm not certain who the maker was, maybe someone here will know for sure. I see these attributed to a few different makers online and offered as vases. I still have the beat up top of the box I found them in, they were in the basement of an old abandoned house that was going to be torn down. The bottom of the box was in too bad shape to save. These (vases?) are depicted as candleholders on the box. There is no other info on the box top, but it looks like there was a label attached at one time.

    3. 1970s L. E. Smith Glass Co. Moon and Star pattern covered candy.

    4. How/why Vaseline Glass got that nickname.
