This vase is about 8" high x 4" in diameter, not marked but labeled "Made in Japan" on the bottom. Very inexpensive for a Japanese vase of this size.

There was a nearly exact, labeled copy of this vase, including labeled box, on the Japanese auction site, Mercari.com (https://jp.mercari.com/item/m57969341270). The label on the vase was too small to translate but the label on the box was readable, in part. The readable part of the label on the box translated to "Mino no kuni Ancient Kilns" but the kiln text was too blurred to translate. The auction text provided by the seller said:

    "Unused Storage Item
    Vase Flower Arranger
Mino-no-Kuni Ancient Kiln / Keinan Kiln
    Approximate height: 21.2 cm
Inner diameter of mouth: approximately 3 cm / Outer diameter of mouth: approximately 5.3 cm

*I purchased this for the practice of ikebana (Kobori-ryu), but it has been stored unused. The condition is generally good, but there may be minor scratches, so I would appreciate it if you do not mind them and consider it.

*If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

#Here are the vases and flower arrangers for flower arrangement during the renovation of my parents' house."

    and

"Unused Flower Vase / Flower Arranger / Mino-no-Kuni Ancient Kiln Kenanko Kiln / Height Approximately 21.2 cm"

Unfortunately, I can find no information on the "Keinan" or "Kenanko" kiln. Mino no kuni basically means "Mino Ware". Research continues.

    Guessing probably 1970s-1980s.

These are not my images, so I will replace them with my images, soon.
