I have had this around for a long time trying to downsize. Just wondering if anybody knows anything about this item? I see a signature on the bottom. Not sure if it's an actual artist or just studio pottery, any help would greatly be appreciated

Looks like something from someone's ceramics class. The decoration is a transfer, not hand painted.
