This 2 1-2" goldtone brooch has rich Fall color round brown and golden amber rhinestones in a domed setting. By Sphinx of England with their oval mark on the back,ca 1960s

Phil thank you for your marvelous praise for this Sphinx, the colors especially say Fall don't they. The brown was rather intense so I had to photograph it near a sunny window to bring it out. Hope you liked the dogtooth type prongs, I have been trying to focus more on prong set pieces and have a few nice ones coming up for future posts (a couple pretties from a Canadian co that was a Sherman contemporary)
