    I thought this was unique and pretty, I found this at a thrift store so I have no idea of its origin.
    Does anyone recognize it?

      Transfer ware. Sometimes pottery is marked with an "X" if it is a factory second. I have seconds items that I can see nothing at all wrong with, but apparently factory quality control folks have a more critical eye than I do.
