    Beyermann
    (10 items)

I think this little beauty is very rare because it´s having the paper label saying "Parisiana B&Co" attached .
I have known about this vase for many years. It made me ( in 2016 ) interested to learn about the label and have searched a lot to find information
It was posted at glassmessages.com 2011 together with another small interesting piece. Both having this label.
Now it has unexpectedly ended up with me! So grateful and happy!
The 2 first photos is from that post. https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,38505.msg212531.html#msg212531

Hope anyone here can tell me anything about this label. / Marie

Sorry I can't help you with this but I know how nice it feels to end up owning a piece you've previously seen illustrated in a book or online. Has happened to me with a couple of items I saw pictured in a 1960s era book on art glass which then came up for auction/sale in the mid - 2000s. Well done on this lovely vase!

It is indeed a delightful looking vase being both abstract and pictorial. And always an extra pleasure to have a label. I was a member of glass messages too for a short while and I think there are others here too.

IronLace! A little sad it´s not possible to post photos here in comments...I guess you have it posted here at CW?
I put my vase under "Unsolved mystery"... Exciting, Fingers crossed!

Marie, I didn't want to "hijack" your post with my stuff, but will add a link to one of my early posts about a vase I first saw in a book. It was very exciting to find it for sale & add it to my collection. Isn't it wonderful how things go around in circles over the years & find new homes? That is a big part of the enjoyment of collecting in my opinion!

(And to both you & Peggy, I was also on Glass Messages many years ago under another name & in another life...alas I didn't find much sustenance there ultimately, as a collector of Victorian glass...at the time seem somewhat ruled by people whose focus was on mid - 20th century glass.)

My little vase came to me unexpectedly in a parcel as a gift, a very big surprise!

The information I have is that there was a sample shop in Paris, ca 1900 (?) with the name "Parisiana" , specialising in Bohemian glass. Selling glass decorated by Beyermann & Company, Haida and perhaps/ most likely other glass refineries/ makers, too? One info says it was a "wholesale shop" where glass merchants bought glass. Please, where can I find more info about my little vase?
