Dave this rabbit dish was a surprise, while browsing for glass animals this came up in a bunch of colors & I loved the pink, as we talked about that's a less common color and luckily no one here has posted this piece before. Very nice work by LE Smith, the braided basket edges are so pretty. Thanks so much for your super praise & glad to hear your store is doing well
Leesa I know you like pink and am really happy that you enjoyed this one. The bunny is a nice size, then if you look at the basket it's a very complex design, the top edge has a twisty braid, then the rest is the typical cross basket pattern. Thank you for your great compliment
I kind of wonder if it was in the series of books on bedroom and bathroom Glass of the 1930's. I used to sell that book. Gorgeous and rare I bet !~
Phil this may well have been put in a book as LE Smith is mostly vintage glass, it certainly would look super in bed or bath esp with the pretty pink color. Thank you for your wonderful praise
