Gold Star Pen Co. Cloisonné Enameled Ballpoint Pen

Recently acquired Golden Star Pen Co. (Peking, China), cloisonné enameled yellow with blue flowers and vines ballpoint pen. My understanding is that Golden Star was a Shanghai pen maker started by three Korean brothers in 1932, later opening a Peking (Beijing) factory in 1952.

Not sure the age of this cap-actuated pen, but suspect it has age considering the apparent plating loss showing underlying brass in some areas (note the bottom tip/opening). But it's beautiful in design with a nice heft in the hand.
