This is from a few years ago. I'm posting this as management of this wonderful edifice is contemplating replacing the neon pictured here (and in other areas of the building) with LED's sometime soon.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all !!!!

They can't make Radio City look any better than this with those Broadway lights, nice photo Ted

Yes, Vinyl..... I agree with you wholeheartedly on that!

Incidentally, if you're near Wilkes-Barré, PA "Get The Led Out", a great Led Zeppelin tribute band is playing there on December 28th, 2024 @8PM.

Also, GTLO's 2025 tour schedule is available now, as well on their website.

Hi, Jenni...it would be "architectural blasphemy" to change Radio city's lighting from neon to LED's !!!!!

Thank you, my friend, for the compliments on the photo. It is one of the favorite images that I have photographed. I remember the day well, as a guard disallowed me from using a tripod....luckily, I captured this image before he noticed me using one. Oddly, the same "No Tripod" rule was in effect at the Grand Central Terminal then, as well!
