Hi everyone!!
For the last several years, I've slowly been building my collection of cast iron Hubley doorstops designed by the British cartoonist Harriet Fish (1890-1964). I just added the #268 Parlor Maid to that collection. She's still in fantastic condition and, as you'll see in pic #2, she is numbered 268 right about her waist. She measures 9 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" wide.
I now own three of the seven designs by Harriet Fish, as you'll see in pic #3. These are all carry a very high value and I feel very fortunate to have them in my collection. So far, I own the following FISH doorstops:
#270 Charleston Dancers
#268 Parlor Maid
and
#249 The Messenger Boy
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!
