This 10" high elephant was obtained by my Great Grandfather, a collector of sorts, likely prior to 1900 (he died in 1908). He lived in PA 1880, then moved to Chicago, probably around 1890. Found some photos of Royal Dux Elephants that look like this, but there is no visible marking on the elephant. No one has any idea where exactly he purchased it.
Would love to find out something about this for Dad, who is now 98.
