Hello everyone!!
I bought these bookends a while back and they were unpainted. I felt they needed to have some color to them. Since today is a cold and snowy day, I took the liberty of painting these jockeys. So, I guess you could consider this set a one of a kind, since all the other sets of these are unpainted.
Though they're far from perfect, they do seem to suit the purpose for which they were intended. These were made in 2008 by O.C.C. (OK Casting Co.) in Ponco City, Oklahoma and, though they appear to be bronze, they’re actually made of resin. I've never been a fan of anything made of resin, but I do like this set. These bookends measure 6 3/4” tall and 4 7/8” wide.
