this came with a truckload of car parts and auto enthusiast magazines Hot Rod etc etc
Cool little car made in about 1977 to 1980. The original owner only fired it a few times. Mostly just a displayed show peice
Well designed model car with suspension and steering. Control steering done with a "stick" specially made to turn steering wheel
Seem to remember seeing they had to close last year partially due to the hexamine blocks used to power the cars came up on a list of restricted chemicals in the UK that could be used to make bombs and they had no substitute.

I also read many years ago that was what the soldiers used the blocks in the rat packs for if they needed to improvise an explosive.
I still have some in my day pack, just in case I get lost when out in the bush and need to cook my emergency can of baked beans :)
The seller did tell me that they were defunct and no longer making these steam engine cars.
RE the fuel... "joe" said his dad use liquid / gel out of sterno cans for fuelin' when he ran this. He told that worked well.
I was told that in the NAM they burned C4 to heat up rations....
