I believe this is 1800s but I'm not sure.
I cant find anything on the image in the lid, like who it is or anything like that. But it's a really cool peice, I'd love to know more if anyone knows anything about these.
Welcome to CW. You need to edit your post and replace an image with one that shows the whole piece. All we see is parts of the trunk. That would be helpful for image searches
That piece of paper is one added in the last century by the owners who often used a pic like this to add in it. This one of yours is also missing its top tray to put smaller items which often used similar pics to line it. One can easily be rebuilt for it.
