Unusual Vintage Bangle

Hello I’ve just rediscovered my stash of Bangles, I’ve just found this one and taking a look at it and realised it is embroidered material and incased in some kind of early plastic, maybe Lucite, I’ve no idea how old it is or where it’s from. Any help would be great
