1929 Jennings Brothers Silver Plated Skye Papillon Terrier Bookends

Hello everyone!!
This set of bookends were made in 1929 by Jennings Brothers. They're silver plated Skye Papillon terriers. The bookend encyclopedia list these as "Silver Scotties", but I differ their opinion. The angel wing ears clearly indicate that these are Skye Pap terriers. They dogs and bases are made of spelter. I have another set of these that are gold, but they're slightly damaged. I may post those sometime in the near future. These were severely tarnished and it took me nearly two hours to clean and polish these. I was able to remove most of the tarnish, but not all of it. Anyway they still cleaned up fairly nice. These measure 7" long, 7" tall and 3" deep.
