Here is one of my great grandmemere's postcards. Written in french on the back - in her writing - a little love poem 'Excusez moi si je ne suis pas rendu hiaiere [??]-a- soir. Et je serais avec toi mardi aux soir.' Maybe someone can read the parts i cannot. ?? I don't think anyone in my family were Masons, but 'qui sait ?' The postcard has a leather cover which says 'Love on the Square' which flips up to show a couple swinging on a Mason's square. In small letters on the back 'American Colorgravure Post Card. Series 138a, subject 2498.'

I think it meant ‘hier soir’ …

That makes sense Kevin although it is written as 'hier-a-soir' which i don't get.
