Here is a 3 1-4"W ceramic kitten handpainted in shades of blue with white, and the silver & gold accents that are a signature of Uruguay's Artesania Rinconada (now called DeRosa Rinconada, as the family of artist Jorge DeRosa continues his legacy). This kitten was also made in black & white in their catalog, reminding me of our beloved neighborhood B&W cat from many yrs ago when we were newly married, a photo of him in the last pic

Phil, this cat does have a fascinating design, almost like he is wearing a Peruvian blanket, it's so intricate. What I really love about him is that sweet upturned face, as if saying, "pick me up please"

DejaVu I'm really happy you liked both cats, the real one was very special. Rather than a tuxedo cat, you would call him bicolor because his upper body was all black, & lower all white and downy soft like a bunny rabbit. He used to sit right next to me while I was sunbathing out back, purring loudly. Nice memories...
