Hubley American Eagle Society Spotting Guide
The American Eagle was cataloged from '71-'76 in three versions. The catalog #21214 and the box is the same for every year. You can narrow the year down by colors, specifically the LF(Lower Fuselage) color, number of propeller blades and slotted or phillips screws being used. The catalog listed the colors as red/white/blue from '71-'75 and red/gold(it's actually yellow)/blue in '76. The colors aren't visible in the '71 catalog, but '72-'76 show yellow lower fuselages and 4 blade props.

Fabulous eagles all!
Wow ,,how were you able to find so many with Boxes
Got lucky lately. Hopefully another boxed one on the way. The Post Office sent it to Deatsville after it arrived in Montgomery, where I live. They do that a lot, they must want me to move there. I actually lived in Deatsville when I was born, thankfully I was to young to remember it.
