This is one of a set of six sake cups, all about 2.5" high x 2.5" widest diameter, and signed on the lower edge. They came in a box but I have not received them yet. Hopefully, the box will have some writing on it.
I am guessing that these cups are a contemporary homage to Sumida Gawa pottery which was featured in a recent post on CW:
