I recently purchased this round from a friend and can’t seem to find any info on it or any particular mint etc. I did see a post here on CW with a similar round but it’s a 4 yr old post so not sure I’ll get a response. Reads Gold Ban 1933 - Repealed 1975. Coin weighs 1.61 grams and reads .999 pure on sigma. There are some differences in this one and the other one posted here but they do carry the same “USC” logo so I was curious if there is or was an old “usc” mint etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

My thoughts..it could be a reproduction or commemorative piece? Are you saying your machine reads it as gold or gold plated?

      Here's an interesting fact..

Hey Dav, thanks for the link! Yes, the sigma reads .999 pure. I was thinking it could possibly be a reproduction as well. Mine looks more “poured” than pressed but then again I’m wondering if it could also be an earlier production of this elusive “usc” mint.
