This is Seaforth’s 1950 Christmas “Sampler Set.” The Sears Christmas Catalog described this gift set as, “[q]uaint miniature replicas of ancient Scotch jugs,” consisting of 1-3/4 oz bottles of cologne and after-shave lotion, and a 1-1/4 oz bottle of men’s talc. This set retains all three bottles, with full talc and cologne, and only some remaining after shave. The Sears Catalog listed this set at $1.50, which is a mere $19.77 today.
The bottom of the bottles (with the exception of the talc) have molded glass font reading, “A D McKelvy Co” arched over the top, “NY NY” arched around the bottom, and “1 3/4 ozs” centered in the middle.
