Hello everyone!!
I have several antique bronze rabbits with bronze baskets, but this is the first of this type I've managed to acquire. All of my others are standing upright with small baskets. This one, of course, is on all fours with a yoke of baskets. The rabbit and baskets are all made of bronze and the rabbit is hollow. It's larger than my upright rabbits and very detailed. The fur is more defined on these originals than the newer reproductions you'll see today. This one was made 100-125 years ago in Germany. The Easter basket, that we know so well today, originated in Germany. Ironically, so did the Christmas tree. This rabbit measures 7 1/2" long, 6" tall and 3" wide. The bronze baskets each measure 3" in diameter.
Thanks very much for taking time to stop in for a look!!!

A tisket, a tasket...this bunny has two baskets! Great to fill these with treats at Easter. He's a fine looking rabbit, love the face
