Does anyone know the history behind this lamp? It is my mother’s and I’ve damaged the glass shade and a few of the welds, if anyone can recommend a good repair shop.

I have seen quite a few of these lamps, and had several. They are reproductions which came out in the 1990's and are made of resin. I have seen the same shade on all of the ones that I have seen. As they are not hollow, they have some weight behind them. I used to sell books so I used some in my displays. Mystery solved.
