We’ve had this old 6’ Cosden Gas sign for years but didn’t have a great place to display it until we installed this string of parking lot signs in the new Sparks Museum and Event Center. Today we finally stood the sign on the new footing post.
In 1913 Cosden Oil began a refinery in Tulsa just a couple of miles away from the Texas Oil refinery that eventually became Texaco Oil. Very small World in the gas/oil business.
