This 2 1-2"W goldtone brooch is a flying crested bird with outstretched wings of wings of blue & green striped enamel, white rhinestone accents, and one green eye. By Sphinx of England with their oval mark and number A2383 on back,ca 1960s

Phil I totally agree, the detail is wonderful here, the blue-green striped wings really stand out - I have another Sphinx bird in same color stripes but diff pose
DejaVu he is quite the fanciful bird, and although I have a few flying birds this one really appears to soar
